Own your Beauty!
and why it´s so juicy to do so
i`ve had some few phases in my life when I truly felt like I am a 100% in the moment and owning my beauty- inside out. Words can hardly describe how empowered this made me feel and how easy I could handle my life and the work I had to do. I still cherrish those moments and days, cause they showed me how life could be like, if I can only get to this state of self acceptance and self love.
What „owning my beauty“ means to me:
To "own your beauty" means to fully embrace and accept your physical appearance, personality traits, and overall sense of self with confidence and self-love. It means recognizing that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors, and that your unique features and qualities are what make them beautiful and special.
Here are some steps you can take on this beautiful and empowering journey
Challenge negative self-talk: Start by becoming aware of any negative thoughts you have about your appearance. When you catch yourself thinking negatively, challenge those thoughts by asking yourself if they are based on fact or just your perception.
Practice self-acceptance: Accept yourself as you are right now.
Focus on your strengths, and remind yourself that beauty comes in many forms.Develop a positive body image: Surround yourself with images and messages that promote body positivity. Follow social media accounts that celebrate diverse body types, and avoid accounts that promote unrealistic beauty standards.
Practice self-care: Take care of yourself physically, emotionally,
and mentally. Exercise, eat a healthy diet, get enough sleep,
and engage in activities that bring you joy.Dress for yourself: Wear clothes that make you feel confident and comfortable,
regardless of what others might think.Surround yourself with positive people: Spend time with people who uplift and support you, and avoid those who make you feel bad about yourself.
Face Yoga is such a great way for me to get centered and practice at least 4 of the aboves guidelines.
Challenge yourself daily and try out some of the guidelines and let me know how this is working.
Be the Change you wanna see
All the best,
